Meet Rocky, our 8 year old male Shih Tzu and patient. Shih Tzu's are known to develop hip dysplasia and patellar luxation. Hip dysplasia is when there is looseness in the hip joint, usually due to improper formation, and patellar luxation is when the kneecap slips in and out of place. Both of these problems can cause other issues such as arthritis and joint pain.
Rocky has been undergoing chiropractic care by Dr. Dave for over 5 years and has not had any of the known bone issues. He loves being adjusted and is the perfect doggie patient.
Dr. Dave has taken Chiropractic courses on treating and adjusting animals.
